Kevin Doyle, State Dept., "Eastern Europe after two years of the Russian invasion"
23 Jan 2024, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Troy University Montgomery, AL — or via Zoom video
With the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion approaching in February, the State Department's Eastern Europe office is kindly providing us Kevin Doyle, their economic desk officer for Belarus and Moldova. Kevin, who works closely with the Ukraine desk, has served in Hungary and with NATO in Brussels, and will discuss current policy in the region, and the global impacts of the full-scale invasion as we approach the two-year mark.
Having studied in Russia on a State department fellowship, Kevin speaks Russian and some Hungarian, and holds a master's degree in international relations from Harvard. He grew up in Tuscaloosa, and still follows Alabama football.
