Dr. Fiona Hill is a distinguished senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, Russia specialist, former member of the national intelligence staff, a former research director at Harvard University, Chancellor of Durham University, UK -- and author of several books and articles. She holds higher degrees from both St. Andrews and Harvard Universities.

An expert on Russian history, and author of a penetrating biography of President Vladimir Putin, her strategic view extends across eastern Europe.
