Sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association of the US, these 90 minute programs will be held in the Rosa Parks Museum Auditorium on consecutive Tuesday afternoons as listed below from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm in the afternoon. Cost for the entire program is $30.00 for members; $40 for non-members. Guests may attend for $5 per session. (Payment should be mailed to Alabama World Affairs Council, P. 0. Box 241462, Montgomery, AL 36117) Please call Dahdee Bullen at 334-567-0953 to make reservations.
Each participant in the full course will receive a study book for the course and be asked to send in an opinion ballot on each topic. The responses will be compiled and sent to members of Congress and the press to let them know how citizens informed about these issues think about US policies regarding them. Speakers will be Ph. D. faculty members from local colleges and universities and at Maxwell AFB. A full roster of speakers will be provided later and some of the topics may be rearranged based on speaker availability. We are working to have a companion series of television programs presented in concert with the program.
