The AWAC community is invited to a lecture and book signing by noted author, Joe Klein, on Sunday 13 December at 6:30 PM at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.  The event is free, and there is plenty of parking.

Joe Klein is an award winning journalist and the author of six books, including the bestseller Primary Colors. He writes a weekly column for Time Magazine covering U.S. politics, and has won two National Headliner Awards for best magazine column.

In his latest book, Charlie Mike, Joe Klein tells the dramatic story of Eric Greitens and Jake Wood. This is one of the greatest stories to emerge from Iraq and Afghanistan -- a saga of heroism and lives saved. Greatens, a highly decorated Navy SEAL and Rhodes Scholar, wounded in Iraq,  and Woods both returned home to found organizations that help Americans in distress with the belief that the military virtues of discipline and selflessness can build stronger communities and a more vigorous nation.
